There are 60 100% scholarships with the aim of increasing diversity in the programming and data industry. Registration starts on January 26th and classes start on March 8th, the commemorative date of International Women's Day<\/em><\/p>\n

Serasa Experian and Digital House, an educational institution whose mission is to transform the lives of people trained in digital disciplines, have teamed up and will offer 60 full-time scholarships to women who want to start their careers in technology. The initiative is part of Serasa Experian's Transform-se Program, which aims to develop people in vulnerable situations and from minority groups to enter the job market. The objective is to increase the female audience in the segment and collaborate with more diversity in this area, which is predominantly occupied by men. Registration for the Full Stack Programming (Java) and Introduction to Python for Data course starts on January 26th and runs through February 9th. Candidates will undergo logic tests and interviews, conducted by Digital House.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

\"\"The courses, whose classes will begin on March 8, the commemorative date of International Women's Day, are intended exclusively for self-declared female people over 18 years of age and who have completed high school. With a duration of 6 months and more than 300 hours of technical and practical classes, as well as mentoring from volunteer employees of Serasa Experian, the training will be carried out remotely with live classes, three days a week at night time. The model will allow students to balance personal commitments such as their jobs, other studies or taking care of their families during training.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

Throughout the program, fellows will be able to participate in selection processes and be hired by Serasa Experian. In 2021 alone, the company recruited more than 400 people for its technology and data areas.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The Social Responsibility Manager, Roger Cruz, reinforces the importance of prioritizing minority groups and providing opportunities for this public, which in many cases do not gain space in vacancies aimed at the technology sector. \u201cThis is an area known for being more aimed at the male audience, so we want to show in practice that women can work in any segments they have the most affinity for. In addition, it is estimated that in Latin America alone, in the next 5 years, we will have a gap of more than 1.5 million IT professionals, that is, the career opportunities in technology are immense\u201d.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

\u201cThis is another Digital House partnership that makes us very happy, because focusing on the female audience and empowering and driving women to growth and independence is extremely satisfying. The fight for equal rights and opportunity is daily. Roger Cruz reinforces that \u201cdespite being more than 50% of the total population, women represent only 25% of technology professionals, so the importance of focusing on this audience and preparing them for opportunities not only at Serasa Experian, but at any other company, and establish themselves as successful professionals\u201d.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
