In this way, all projects of the acquirer will be born and developed in the cloud computing environment.<\/p>\n<p>With the gradual adoption of the cloud, Cielo hopes to further accelerate its digital transformation. \u201cFor many years our company has been synonymous with payments to various audiences and a reference when it comes to boosting business throughout Brazil. In this way, we reduce the development time for new solutions. These are technologies that can be used tailored to our needs and, above all, those of our customers\u201d, he says.<\/p>\n<p>Cielo and AWS accumulate some experiences together. It was through the cloud, for example, that Cielo managed, in a short period of time, in 2020, to be the first acquirer to make it possible for beneficiaries of emergency aid to make payments through the Caixa Econ\u00f4mica Federal app. On another front, new features for Cielo&#039;s applications were ready in a week using AWS tools, compared to a month when development took place\u00a0<em>on premises<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Two aspects contributed to the choice of AWS as Cielo&#039;s cloud computing provider: the company&#039;s ongoing investments in security, which will benefit the acquirer, as well as the broad support that AWS will provide by training approximately 200 Cielo employees on topics such as architecture, development, and data.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBy expanding its operation on AWS, Cielo has the performance, elasticity and support it needs to keep its customers secure, while using the wide range of services to scale on demand.
