In 2020, the Agency launched the first public notice for selection, award and monitoring of projects to implement 4.0 technologies in agribusiness.<\/p>\n<p>To continue the work, ABDI launches, in early 2022, the 2nd notice of the Agro 4.0 Program, together with MAPA, with the objective of selecting Agro 4.0 Innovation Environments in Brazil, which will replicate adoption and dissemination actions 4.0 technologies with the productive sector.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-10224 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/abes.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/agro.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"330\" height=\"151\" \/>Innovation Environments are spaces conducive to the realization of innovations, environments characteristic of the new economy based on data and on the creation and sharing of knowledge, such as technology parks; technological poles; incubators; accelerators; innovation hubs; and agro-industrial cooperatives. The proposal provides for the Innovation Environment to present, in its project, actions for the adoption of 4.0 technologies by User Companies in the Productive Sector (farms\/cooperatives).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want to form a network for sharing and disseminating digital transformation actions in the field. These projects will need to be developed together with partners, producers, cooperatives, suppliers and other institutions\u201d, explained the president of ABDI, Igor Calvet.<\/p>\n<p>The Public Consultation, with the criteria of the process, is open so that the public can contribute to the elaboration and validation of this stage of the Program. Suggestions must be submitted, through <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=gvUiioqDcU2quRjbOAh2RYdRpfp0yHtKuq_h1qt9-StUQkdUOE1OSEtRWllFMVQwVU80SFdaRU1LVCQlQCN0PWcu\">form<\/a> , until December 12th. Personal identification is optional and data will not be disclosed individually.<\/p>\n<p>The criteria, object of this Public Consultation, can be accessed through this <a href=\"https:\/\/abes.org.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/consultapublican0042021.pdf\">link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>extraordinary results<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first Agro 4.0 Public Notice classified 14 projects out of 100 proposals sent from all regions of Brazil. The results were surprising and show how technology really brings more efficiency and competitiveness to the field, in addition to reducing costs.<\/p>\n<p>An intelligent irrigation project, by Raks Tecnologia Agr\u00edcola, implemented at Agropecu\u00e1ria Bergoli, in the municipality of Lu\u00eds Eduardo Magalh\u00e3es (BA), presented the potential for a 20% reduction in the amount of irrigation and a 30% reduction in the cost of electricity in the corn crop. .<\/p>\n<p>Startup @Tech is using Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence to help define the best time to sell beef cattle on several farms in Goi\u00e1s and Mato Grosso do Sul. On average, the increase in producer profit reaches 30%.<\/p>\n<p>Fazenda Goiabal, in Bom Jardim, in the interior of Rio de Janeiro, uses robotics to stir coffee in the yard. This phase of product preparation has a rover (a machine) that replaces manual labor.
