Adoption of the cloud solution allowed the creation of the infrastructure in record time and guarantees the capacity to grow according to the demands without loss of value qualities<\/em><\/p>\nTecBan, a company of technological and innovative solutions that integrates the physical and the digital and drives the economic ecosystem in Brazil, hosts its Open Banking as a Service platform on the AWS cloud. As a result, it reduced the need for investments in its own infrastructure and ensured scalability, maintaining the quality of services offered regardless of the volume of customers.<\/p>\n
In 2019, TecBan started the development of its Open Banking platform, with the support of Ozone, a company participating in the creation of the pioneering open system in the United Kingdom. With that, it brought to Brazil what is most modern and efficient, complying with local regulation. Following the guidelines and steps determined by the Central Bank of Brazil, the platform was launched at the beginning of this year. To host its solution, TecBan chose AWS because, in addition to being in Brazil and already working with Ozone, in the UK, it has more than 200 services available.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe already had a history of success stories with AWS and we needed to ensure the quality of this delivery. As, at the time, our solution was new, but with great potential, we needed to provide usability for as many customers as possible, considering all sizes\u201d, explains Rogerio Melfi, New Platforms Consultant at TecBan.<\/p>\n
Following the Central Bank's schedule, TecBan believes that the use of the platform will grow in the coming months and the expectation is that the benefits shown so far will continue.<\/p>\n
\u201cAWS has given us very high availability without the need to make large investments in components and servers. Also, the\u00a0Total Cost of Ownership (TCO<\/em>) was much lower than it would be in a physical structure. The time and cost reductions are remarkable\u201d, reveals Melfi, noting that the great benefit presented so far is the speed with which customers are included in the platform, just 60 days, in addition to the security offered by the infrastructure.<\/p>\n\u201cAWS is committed to ensuring that its customers and consumers can make the most of the benefits of Open Banking, helping them manage their finances more effectively and find the right banking products for their needs. The Open Banking as a Service TecBan platform is supported by several AWS services, such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3), Amazon CloudFront, AWS Key Management Service (KMS), AWS Lambda, Amazon Route 53, Amazon API Gateway, Amazon DocumentDB, AWS Certificate Manager, Amazon Cognito, AWS CloudHSM, AWS CloudTrail, and the AWS WAF.<\/p>\n
