VTEX (NYSE: VTEX), the large business digital commerce platform for brands and retailers, a leader in accelerating the transformation of digital commerce in Latin America and now expanding globally, today announces the third edition of the VTEX Accelerator program. Registration will be open until November 14th<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

Since its inception in 2020, the VTEX Accelerator has aimed to drive the development of global ecommerce markets in a collaborative way, helping start-ups reach their full potential. With this initiative, VTEX hopes to promote collaborative commerce and build a global digital ecosystem for the sector.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u>\"\"<\/p>\n

In its two previous editions, the VTEX Accelerator has promoted important results, with a total of 538 applications from more than 44 countries. In addition, three program winners and a finalist \u2014 Usedesk, ChatCenter, BrainDW and Photoslurp \u2014 have already turned their ideas into fully functional solutions available on\u00a0VTEX App Store<\/a>.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

\u201cParticipating in the VTEX Accelerator was a great experience for our company,\u201d says Gonzalo Baez Veglia, co-founder of ChatCenter Network, one of the VTEX Accelerator winners.\u201d As winners, we had access to ecommerce tutoring and training. In parallel, the development of the partnership with VTEX allowed us to bring our solution to a global ecosystem of ecommerce operators.\u201d<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

The new edition of VTEX Accelerator<\/strong><\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/h2>\n

Registration for the third edition of the VTEX Accelerator program will be open from September 13th to November 14th. After a rigorous selection process that considers the relevance of the solutions to their regions and their stages of maturity, 36 finalists will be chosen to compete in six final events that will take place in December. Of these finalists, 18 start-ups will be declared winners and will participate in the program from February 1, 2022, benefiting from subsidies of up to $10,000 USD in the model\u00a0equity free<\/em>\u00a0to develop on the VTEX App Store, in addition to having expert mentoring, technical support and visibility into the ecommerce ecosystem.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n

The final selection will be decided by a highly regarded panel of judges, which in the past has included Mariano Gomide, co-founder and co-CEO of VTEX, Geraldo Thomaz, co-founder and co-CEO of VTEX, Patricia Amaro, former board member of Unilever Spain, Gabriel Cabrera, former SONY Regional Director for Latin America and Francisco Ceballos, co-founder of Mercado Livre, among others.<\/u><\/u><\/u>\u00a0<\/u><\/p>\n
