Its objective is to train 100,000 women throughout Brazil through technical courses and career guidance to promote employability in the industry.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>According to data from the Special Report on Female Entrepreneurship in Brazil, released last year by Sebrae, 48% of MEIs (Individual Microentrepreneurs) are women. However, in the IT sector, female participation is still small: only 20% of the workforce in the formal information technology market are women, according to the survey \u201cWomen in IT\u201d, carried out by Softex.\u00a0<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>MaisMulheres.Tech brings together six free and online training tracks for women who are in the technology market or in career transition. These are: Cloud Computing, Infrastructure, Information Security, DevOps, Data Science and Development, and Artificial Intelligence. Lasting between 4 and 8 hours, all courses are taught by women and guarantee participants a declaration of completion. After completing the registration, classes must be completed within 30 days.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo address this disparity between men and women in the technology market, we need to expand opportunities for training and career building in this sector. At Softex, we believe in the power of diversity and female entrepreneurship as a driver of empowerment. IT vacancies grew by 310% last year, there is a high demand for work and companies are interested in betting on new professionals.
