ABES sponsors the first edition of the ESG Forum, a 100% digital event organized by TI Inside, which aims to present and debate which initiatives companies should adopt to be committed to having a more sustainable operation in environmental, social and environmental terms. governance (ESG \u2013 Environmental, Social, Governance). The event takes place on the 16th and 17th of June.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
\u201cThe debate around practices aligned with ESG principles has grown in Brazil, and more and more companies are committed to preserving natural resources, promoting well-being in the work environment, adopting best practices in corporate governance and enabling technologies. We decided to participate in this forum to showcase our ESG-aligned initiatives, which include the Mobilization for Inequality Reduction, the ReciTech Program and the Uma Empesa Ethical initiative. We also aim to encourage new practices among our associates and in the national ICT sector\u201d, explains Rodolfo F\u00fccher, president of ABES.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
In addition to a virtual stand, Rodolfo will participate in the panel on Human Capital, alongside Marcus Nakagawa (ESPM), Fernando Luciano (Telef\u00f4nica Brasil) and Rubem D. Duek (Meu Futuro Digital), in order to analyze the new challenges in the of work, such as corporate conduct and social issues, including: gender equality, education, health and well-being, reduction of inequalities.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
Being in line with the objectives of the ESG is today a mandatory reference for companies to be valued in the financial market and to receive the so-called Socially Responsible Investments (SRI). After all, companies that are able to adapt to changes and support sustainable development have become even more important to society as a whole.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
