To promote the development of this segment in Santa Catarina, the Santa Catarina Association of Technology Companies (ACATE) launches Vertical Fintech. &nbsp;<br \/>\n\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\tThe group&#039;s director will be Roberto Dagnoni, vice president and director of New Business at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cetip.com.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cetip<\/a>. The company is a financial market integrator, offering registration, central depository, trading and settlement services for assets and securities. \u201cIn addition to promoting events and encouraging the sharing of experiences among its members, Vertical intends to provide the development of complementary and competitive offers for the financial services sector, based on collaboration between companies\u201d, highlights Dagnoni.<br \/>\n\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\tAccording to a study by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.br.capgemini.com\/noticia\/bancos-batalham-para-manter-seus-clientes-diante-da-disrupcao-causada-pelas-fintechs-revela\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">capgemini<\/a>, the use of fintech services in Brazil is above the global average. The survey shows that 74% of Brazilian consumers use products or services in this category, while the global average is 63%. For the president of ACATE, Daniel Leipnitz, fintechs have revolutionized the way people carry out financial operations. \u201cThese startups are impacting the business of financial institutions, which have sought to reinvent themselves, especially in the way they relate to customers,\u201d he explains. Leipnitz reinforces that the population is going to banks less and is starting to use technologies aligned with the fintech concept, such as applications for payments, loans and financial management.<br \/>\n\t&nbsp;<br \/>\n\tThe launch of Vertical Fintech is scheduled for October 6, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, at the ACATE Innovation Center (CIA) \u2013 Spring. The program will feature a presentation on Fintech in Brazil, a lecture, and dynamics facilitated by Clay Innovation \/ FintechLab, supporting the organization of Vertical.
