The company has just migrated 100% from the servers, in addition to all infrastructure in\u00a0<em>Colocation<\/em>, previously physically allocated in a third-party datacenter, for the cloud environment\u00a0<em>Microsoft Azure<\/em>, with the support of the\u00a0<em>SoftwareONE<\/em>. The company made an assessment of Sapore&#039;s entire computing environment and its capacity and thus planned the phases of the \u201c<em>moving<\/em>\u201dThat took place between June and September 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are the first company in our industry to bring 100% from servers to the cloud, we did it in just three months with the partnership of\u00a0<em>SoftwareONE<\/em>, including foundation, migration and optimization \u201d, highlighted the director of technology at Sapore, Rafael Tobara. \u201cGoing to the cloud brings us competitive advantages and operational efficiency, in addition to having a financial savings close to 20% when compared to the previous model. With managed services from\u00a0<em>SoftwareONE<\/em>, we managed to decrease the number of servers by 16%, due to the improvement in server technology in\u00a0<em>Cloud<\/em>, but also, with the optimization of resources suggested by the\u00a0<em>Cloud.\u00a0<\/em>Post-migration will also be possible to reduce annual costs with the cloud by 25%. Another great advantage is the possibility of intelligently optimizing the use of machines by turning them on and off according to the need for use, \u201dsays the executive.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the cloud environment allowing cost reduction of machine idle, Sapore also had savings on DevOps resources due to greater scalability. \u201cTo make a new version or change the application, I don&#039;t need infrastructure people to make publications, I have systemic algorithms that do this automatically, guaranteeing efficiency, agility and scalability. I can actually be very agile and generate more versions in a much more scalable way \u201d, says Vanderlei Gomes, IT manager.<\/p>\n<p>For Sapore - a company that has the responsibility to deliver more than 1.3 million meals a day to 1,300 restaurants, mostly within factories, hospitals or large companies - to have a system that could at the same time guarantee the the complexity of operations (meal processing, intensive purchasing of supplies and distribution logistics) and which allowed it to act quickly to innovate, was fundamental.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSapore moved from a rigid, plastered environment to an efficient structure with parameterization of algorithms to optimize operation, governance and auditable controls and a much more secure system. Our experience in resource management, business process methodology and lifecycle management helps to position the customer ahead of the competition. The Platform Cloud Management Module\u00a0<em>PyraCloud<\/em>\u00a0allows organizations to efficiently manage their budget and multicloud spending. This platform provides complete transparency of cloud resources for all business units, applications or projects. Thus, it is possible to consolidate several end user accounts and provides an organizational view of spending by business unit, location or cost center \u201d, says Felipe Nunes, director of technology services at\u00a0<em>SoftwareONE<\/em>\u00a0in Brazil.<\/p>\n<p>Sapore also implemented the\u00a0<em>Windows Virtual<\/em>\u00a0<em>Desktop<\/em>\u00a0(<em>WVD<\/em>), a solution that guarantees a very high level of security during the use of the systems, that avoids data capture and prevents against invasions of\u00a0<em>hackers<\/em>, in addition to enabling\u00a0<em>home office<\/em>. \u201cWe are always looking for the best in the market and we want to be a pioneer. We know that it is essential to be in the cloud to innovate, but security is a key point for us. THE\u00a0<em>WVD<\/em>\u00a0it&#039;s like a computer created with virtually all security standards inside the employee machine, which even today are\u00a0<em>home office<\/em>. Innovation is in Sapore&#039;s DNA. We have projects of\u00a0<em>chatbot<\/em>, IoT, Artificial Intelligence,\u00a0<em>Datalake<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>machine<\/em>\u00a0<em>learning<\/em>, some made even with the encouragement of\u00a0<em>SoftwareONE<\/em>\u00a0and the\u00a0<em>Microsoft<\/em>\u201d, Says Tobara.<\/p>\n<p>In the coming years, Sapore seeks exponential growth and for that it invests in new platforms of operation, technologies and innovation in order to be even more competitive. \u201cBeing in the cloud will help us to be agile, scalable, maintain our growth in security and innovation. In addition to serving the B2B market, we are expanding with new business models for B2B2C and B2C. This should make us grow 10 times more \u201d, says the director of technology at Sapore.<\/p>\n<p>Recently, Sapore also implemented the suite\u00a0<em>Microsoft Office<\/em>\u00a0365 with support of managed services from\u00a0<em>SoftwareONE<\/em>\u00a0for all its users in all countries where it operates (Brazil, Mexico and Colombia). With the integrated communication platform, we had a great gain in the management and productivity of<em>\u00a0board<\/em>\u00a0and key employees.
