\tO blockchain<\/strong> it is currently more than a fashionable term in the world of information and communication technology. Despite being associated with bitcoin cryptocurrency, this technology took on a life of its own and has been used to guarantee authenticity, integrity and security to different types of transactions. Despite its use in many applications, it is still necessary to debate and understand the proven advantages of the blockchain and the challenges that this technology still needs to overcome.<\/p>\n

\tTherefore, the association will promote the free webinar ABES NEW TIMES: How is blockchain?<\/a>, on August 12, 2020<\/strong>, from 2:30 pm. The online event has the support of Movimento Brasil, Pa\u00eds Digital; Malgueiro Campos Advocacia; in addition to Bertha Capital, BR Angels, Bossa Nova Invest, Kyvo and Startup Farm, partners of the ABES Startup Internshinp Program. <\/p>\n

\tPANELS<\/p>\n

\tEmilia Campos<\/strong>
\n\tLawyer, partner at Malgueiro Campos Advocacia, MBA Professor in Blockchain Technologies at Fiap, author of the book Cryptocurrency and Blockchain, the Law in the Digital World, presents the Uncomplicating Law channel on Youtube.<\/p>\n

\tSolange Gueiros<\/strong>
\n\tSpecialist Blockchain developer, focusing on Bitcoin, Ethereum and Smart Contracts. It won awards at the New York and Berlin hackathons in 2019 and in Denver in 2020. <\/p>\n

\tSafiri Felix<\/strong>
\n\tExecutive Director of the Brazilian Association of Cryptoeconomics (ABCripto). He is one of the pioneers of the Brazilian Bitcoin market, having participated in several initiatives involving cryptoactives and Blockchain applications.<\/p>\n

\tLeisy Teixeira<\/strong>
\n\tCo-founder and Head of Operations at Agryo, a risk intelligence startup for agribusiness, which uses blockchain in its services. He holds a PhD in engineering and a Masters in agribusiness. <\/p>\n

\tThiago Padovan<\/strong>
\n\tCo-founder, Curator and Facilitator in the Movements Project, an initiative to create innovation ecosystems in organizations through the Meta Design approach, and is Coordinator and Guest Instructor of the Innovation and Co-creation Module in the Competitive Management Masters at FGV. In addition, he is a co-founder of the Blockchain Academy, an education and consulting initiative in Cryptocurrencies and Blockchain, where he worked for three and a half years, since its structuring, management and investment process.<\/p>\n
