\n\tThe initiative will select student projects that solve problems in the industrial sector. Registration will be open until October 2020<\/p>\n

\tMicrosoft, SESI (Industry Social Service) and SENAI (National Service for Industrial Learning) are launching a new initiative to foster Brazilian technological development, in a mutual collaboration project. Between June 22 and October 30, 2020, SESI and SENAI students will be able to apply for a national challenge to select the best projects with Microsoft Azure Artificial Intelligence (AI) resources that solve industrial sector problems.<\/p>\n

\tTeams can be formed by up to five students aged 16 and over, under the guidance of a responsible instructor. Students will be divided into three categories based on the course they are enrolled in:<\/p>\n

\tBeginners - High School Students:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\t\u2022 Challenge: Develop a chatbot to help solve a problem or improve a product or process in the Brazilian industry.<\/p>\n

\tVeterans - Qualification and technical course students:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\t\u2022 Challenge: Select one of the challenges registered in the innovation platform and propose a solution developed using Microsoft Artificial Intelligence tools.<\/p>\n

\tSeniors - Undergraduate and graduate students:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\t\u2022 Challenge: Select one of the challenges registered in the innovation platform and propose a solution developed using Microsoft Artificial Intelligence tools.<\/p>\n

\t\u201cMicrosoft has made a long-term commitment to Brazil, the country in which we have operated for 30 years. We see technological training as a way to contribute to the future of Brazilians and increase our competitiveness. With this partnership, we will be able to teach AI to groups of students and, at the same time, solve important problems in the national industry,\u201d explains Vera Cabral, director of Education at Microsoft Brazil.<\/p>\n

\tProject applications will be open between June 22 and October 30, 2020, and must be made through the Saga Senai de Inova\u00e7\u00e3o website, available at http:\/\/plataforma.sagainovacao.senai.br<\/a>. From then on, entries will be evaluated and the best proposals selected to solve recurring problems in the Brazilian industry.<\/p>\n

\tFor each category of the challenge, three finalist projects will be selected. First-place team members will be awarded notebooks and Microsoft certification exam vouchers, while second- and third-place teams will also receive Microsoft certification exam vouchers, with a normal market value of $100.<\/p>\n
