{"id":22951,"date":"2020-06-18T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-06-18T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abes.org.br\/?p=10257"},"modified":"2020-06-18T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2020-06-18T00:00:00","slug":"centro-de-inovacao-tecnologica-do-hospital-das-clinicas-e-governo-do-estado-unem-esforcos-no-combate-a-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abes.org.br\/en\/centro-de-inovacao-tecnologica-do-hospital-das-clinicas-e-governo-do-estado-unem-esforcos-no-combate-a-covid-19\/","title":{"rendered":"Center for Technological Innovation at Hospital das Cl\u00ednicas and the State Government join forces to fight Covid-19"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p>\n\tInitiative aims to identify new technologies and innovative solutions to fight pandemic<\/p>\n<p>\tThe Technological Innovation Center \u2013 InovaHC of the Hospital das Cl\u00ednicas of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of S\u00e3o Paulo (HCFMUSP) and the Government of the State of S\u00e3o Paulo announced this week the IdeiaGov, an innovation program that aims to identify technologies and proposals to combat and reduce the impacts of the new coronavirus on the population&#039;s health.<br \/>\n\t&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br \/>\n\tAimed at entrepreneurs, companies, researchers and entities from all over Brazil, the program opened applications for proposals in the \u201cGovernment Challenges\u201d and \u201cTechnological Market Offers\u201d modalities. The winning projects will receive lines of financing and contracting of products created by public agencies.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe president of InovaHC, prof. Dr Giovanni Guido Cerri, states that \u201cthe partnership with the State Government is in our spirit of encouraging open innovation and seeks to develop the healthcare ecosystem in order to improve its economic and operational efficiency and, at the same time, integrate the sectors public and private in favor of technological innovation\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\tHe explains that today there are more than 30 startups working within InovaHC in different areas, developing and applying technologies that can be useful in serving Covid-19 patients and patients in general. \u201cThis will be the great legacy that will be transmitted in the post-covid\u201d, says Cerri, stressing the benefit of transferring the technologies developed to other hospitals in the public and private networks. \u201cHere we are developing projects using artificial intelligence, telehealth, remote monitoring technology and the use of robotics\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe IdeiaGov program is led by the S\u00e3o Paulo State Departments of Economic Development and Government, with the realization of InovaHC and operation of the Impact Hub.
