To support this experience, ABES - Brazilian Association of Software Companies, one of the event's institutional sponsors, opens space for its associates Intel, Logicallis, Cisco and IBM, to participate in the Connected Cities panel, in the ABES Partner Strategic Agenda, at next September 10th, at 9am. Entries must be made on here .

The 6th edition of the event will be marked by themes related to sustainable urbanism in cities such as the environment, energy and mobility. With this in mind, ABES will bring together executives from associated companies to address urban management and improvements in public services, integrated IoT solutions, artificial intelligence and big data.

To speak about environmental monitoring, urban mobility, public lighting, waste management, public safety and health services for smart cities, ABES invited Fabiano Sabatini, Intel IoT Specialist; Fábio Jardim, Technology Manager at Logicallis; José Maria Cesario, IBM Cloud Solutions Architect, and Ricardo Mucci, Cisco Sales Director, to participate in this panel.

"Technology is one of the fundamental pieces for the construction of the cities of the future. The possibilities that we see today are still only the tip of the iceberg that is to come. The debate with visions and applications of technology to cities, promoted by this event, is extremely important for the advancement of society ", reinforces Fábio Jardim, Logicallis Technology Manager.

Faced with the debate, experts will also assess the prospects for a smart city to be more inclusive, in addition to demanding the entry of new businesses.

"Intel's purpose is to create technologies capable of transforming the world and enriching the lives of every person on Earth. That is why we are accelerating innovation in IoT, allowing the diverse ecosystem of partners and developers to create new solutions quickly. Discuss the impacts and applicability of IoT in Smart Cities is extremely important towards an increasingly connected and intelligent future ", explains Fabiano Sabatini, Intel IoT Specialist.

For the director of Public Sector at Cisco do Brasil, Ricardo Mucci, it is important to discuss how cities are preparing themselves and what are the challenges and opportunities to meet and connect with a citizen who is increasingly digital. "At Cisco, we believe that technology has the potential to create opportunities for everyone and with connectivity we can build a more digital and inclusive future. And that goes through the digitalization of cities".

According to José Maria Cesário, Cloud Solutions Architect at IBM, the scenario of smart cities is composed of several technological solutions, from legacy solutions and systems already existing in cities to new technologies such as IoT, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence. New frontiers such as 5G technology will bring all these elements closer together and cloud computing and Edge Computing will be the foundation to support this model.

"IBM believes and supports all elements of this technological model, where integration is fundamental and this occurs in an open, transparent and secure way. The convergence of these technologies will help the public authorities and the population to have more aware and active cities in the sectors of environment, safety, transport, health and several other areas that depend on the integration between the action of the human being, which is fundamental, and the technology ", concludes the spokesman.

SERVICE: Connected Smart Cities - Connected Cities Panel Strategic Agenda ABES Partner
Date: September 10th
Hour: 9 am
Registrations: http://www.sympla.com.br/connected-smart-cities–mobility-dx__772138?d=csc20_inst_abes100

Guests

Fabiano Jardim - Technology manager specialized in the development of Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, at Logicalis.
