Organizations that design for interoperability, trust, and agility will unlock continuous innovation and integrate AI securely and at scale.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3><strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">Key findings of the report:<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li><strong>Sovereignty and security are reshaping cloud strategy \u2013 75%<\/strong>\u00a0Leaders express concern about the geopolitical risks of storing and managing data in global cloud environments, while\u00a0<strong>65%<\/strong>\u00a0They have already modified their strategies in response to new data sovereignty regulations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Hybrid and multi-cloud are now the norm \u2013 84%<\/strong>\u00a0The leaders intentionally use multiple clouds, and\u00a0<strong>41%<\/strong>\u00a0They repatriate at least some data to local environments \u2014 balancing control, performance, and compliance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>AI depends on the deliberate design of the cloud.\u00a0<\/strong><strong>-\u00a0<\/strong><strong>89%<\/strong>\u00a0Leaders say that investments in cloud computing have made the use of AI easier, but\u00a0<strong>35%<\/strong>\u00a0They cite integration challenges as one of the main barriers to achieving return on investment. Organizations are increasingly turning to specialized infrastructure, including private AI or neoclouds, both optimized for GPU-driven AI workloads, to balance computing power with cost control.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cloud security is evolving into an AI era.\u00a0<\/strong>As threats increase \u2014 with\u00a0<strong>82%<\/strong>\u00a0As organizations face a cybersecurity-related downturn this year, companies are responding with more adaptable architectures and enhanced security capabilities.\u00a0<strong>91%<\/strong>\u00a0They say their cloud infrastructure offers the flexibility to adapt to new regulations, and\u00a0<strong>75%<\/strong> They are investing in AI for cybersecurity \u2014 more than in any other AI capability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><b>From reactive to strategic: designing the cloud of the future.<\/b><b>\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The report highlights that architecture now defines corporate control. Companies that view the cloud as a strategic and intentional capability\u2014aligning infrastructure, governance, and data\u2014are better positioned to securely integrate AI, meet regulatory demands, manage costs, and accelerate innovation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">The rise of agent AI is driving this shift. Organizations are increasingly training models in public clouds for scalability and running them in private environments for governance\u2014combining performance with trust.
