The expansion of digital infrastructure in Brazil has ceased to be a strictly technical issue and has become the new axis of national economic development. More than just support for systems, the triad formed by connectivity, data centers, and energy has become an indispensable strategic asset for global competitiveness, attracting foreign investment, and strengthening technological sovereignty.

In this scenario of transformation, the ABES (Brazilian Association of Software Companies) promotes, on the day March 26th, at 8:30 AM, a free webinar to discuss how this digital infrastructure can reshape Brazil's socioeconomic development. The central debate revolves around investment and decentralization: how the combination of Brazil's clean energy matrix and efficient public policies can boost the creation of new digital hubs outside major urban centers, directly contributing to the reduction of regional inequalities.

Experts will analyze the challenges for deploying robust infrastructure in different regions of Brazil and the fundamental role of multi-sectoral coordination. “With the growing demand for data processing and artificial intelligence, Brazil can position itself as a safe and efficient hub for global information storage, provided it can strategically integrate technology and energy sustainability,“ assesses Andriei Gutierrez, President of ABES.

Participation this webinar:

  • Carla Cassalha – Director of DataSpots
  • Igor Barreto – Transmission System Access Manager, ONS – National Electric System Operator
  • Daniel José Tavares de Souza Technical Consultant, Energy Transmission Superintendency, Energy Research Company
  • Andriei Gutierrez - President of ABES
