Technology and innovation provider for the Brazilian financial sector reaffirms consolidation cycle with changes in names at the head of the team
Reaffirming your consolidation cycle, Sinqia, preferred provider of technology and innovation for the Brazilian financial sector, announces important names for its Board of Directors and for the Board of Directors.
After more than seven years serving as a member of the company's Board of Directors, Claudio Almeida Prado was elected to the position of Vice President of Operations. Prado was replaced by Carlos Furlan on the Company's Board of Directors. Roberto Rigotto, new director of Sinqia Digital, completes the reinforcements preparing Sinqia to continue in this new moment of growth, and completes the executive staff.
With more than 30 years of experience in the area of Information Technology, Prado began his career at the Laboratory of Integrated Systems at USP, was CEO of Pulso Tecnologia (a company acquired by Sinqia in 2006, which developed the first internet banking solution in country) and records passages through several financial institutions, such as Banco ABN AMRO Real, Produban and Isban (technology companies of the Santander Group), Grupo Santander and Deutsche Bank in Brazil (institutions in which he served as CIO) in Brazil.
According to Prado, Sinqia has everything to continue growing at an even faster pace, and his main motivation is to be part of this moment for the company. We are leaders in an extremely competitive market with very demanding customers. Continuing to grow consistently and with increasing quality is the company's great challenge and, in this context, the operations area plays a fundamental role”, reveals the executive.
Roberto Rigotto is the founder of Simply, a process automation company with joint intelligence acquired by Sinqia in April 2021, when Sinqia Digital was created. A specialist in products and technology, he participated in the unit's challenges and opportunities over the course of 1 year and 6 months until he took on his new position.
“My objective will be to explore the synergy between the acquired companies and optimize integration efforts with the Sinqia verticals – such as Consortium, Pensions and Funds, for example”, says Rigotto.
Co-founder of Pravaler, the main platform for access and solutions for the education ecosystem in the country, Carlos Furlan joined the company to occupy the chair of advisor with the objective of bringing a view from those who are inserted in the financial solutions environment focused on the end user. Furlan participated in the entire creation and development process of Pravaler, managing several areas.
Since 2013, he has held the position of CEO of the company, currently with around 500 employees and R$ 300 million in revenue. Before joining Pravaler, he worked for three years at Banco ABN AMRO Real.
Furlan points out that his great challenge will be to contribute to the strategic discussions so that the company continues at its pace of strong growth and innovation. “Furthermore, I hope to help in the development of people and products here at Sinqia through all my experience and knowledge acquired at Pravaler. I also believe that I can contribute to building a strong team on the Board of Directors, so that the company continues to evolve solidly”, he reinforces.
