Partnership with ABES aims to expand opportunities for vulnerable populations and strengthen employability in the technology sector.

Rede Cidadã, a social organization with 23 years of experience in human development and productive inclusion, is the newest partner of... HR Tech Platform, an initiative of ABES (Brazilian Association of Software Companies). The collaboration promises to open new doors for socially vulnerable groups, connecting them to the promising world of technology.
Since 2002, Rede Cidadã's mission has been to promote human and social development through integration into the world of work. With a presence in 10 states and 92 municipalities, the organization has already placed more than 150,000 people in the workforce, with the support of 3,600 private companies, dozens of public agencies, 700 social organizations, and 2,700 volunteers.
The organization develops initiatives aimed especially at young people, people with disabilities, women, homeless people, seniors (50+) and members of the LGBTQIAPN+ community.
"We believe that technology can be a powerful tool for inclusion and social transformation. With RH Tech, we want to enhance this impact by connecting diverse talent to industry opportunities," says Fernando Alves, Executive Director of Rede Cidadã.
“We are excited to join forces with an organization that has been transforming lives through training and employability for over two decades. We believe that by connecting ABES member companies to Rede Cidadã projects, we can expand the social impact of our initiative and open real pathways for diverse talents to find their place in the technology market,” concludes Jamile Sabatini Marques, Director of Innovation, Development and Research at the association, who is responsible for RH Tech.

Technology as a bridge to transformation
Rede Cidadã's work in the technology sector began in 2013 and has already impacted more than 1,500 people, with an employment rate of 80%. Projects include training in strategic areas such as:
- Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence (Start Project)
- Front-End Programming (Ford Enter)
- Cloud computing (AWS Re/Start)
Training beyond technique
One of the distinguishing features of the Rede Cidadã program is its unique socio-emotional development methodology, based on the reflective-experiential method. This approach strengthens skills such as empathy, resilience, and communication, significantly increasing job retention. A study conducted with Accenture revealed that young people who graduate from the Rede Cidadã program are up to three times more likely to remain employed.
The new partnership is expected to expand relationships with ABES member companies, encouraging them to become partners in Rede Cidadã's technology projects. This could happen through the hiring of trained professionals or financial support for training initiatives.
For the coming years, Rede Cidadã projects growth in apprenticeship programs, internships, and projects focused on professional and socio-emotional training, with a special focus on technology, inclusion of homeless people, and socio-educational measures.
