ABES scheduled internal training on its Compliance Program, which will be held on November 14th from 10am to 12pm. This training is aimed at directors, advisors, employees, committee coordinators and work groups. The training will be led by Carolina Marzano, the association's Chief Compliance Officer. During the presentation, emphasis will be placed on the entity's guidelines, which are reflected in its Code of Ethics and Conduct, as well as in its Policy of Interaction with Public Agents.

Carolina Marzano explains: “ABES was one of the first organizations to implement a Compliance Program and, since its foundation, in 1986, has had Ethics and Integrity as fundamental values. To maintain and strengthen these principles, we annually carry out internal training open to all employees of the Association. We address our Program, Policies, Guidelines and anti-corruption Compliance issues, in accordance with current legislation. Ethics and transparency are an integral part of ABES' culture, and we encourage our members and the market in general to adopt measures to combat corruption and unfair practices”.

As part of its program, ABES provides a reporting channel own, which allows people to report suspicions of inappropriate behavior or misconduct anonymously, if related to the association's associated professionals, directors or suppliers.

“Ethics and integrity are essential to the success and sustainability of ABES, helping to maintain positive relationships, build trust and fulfill social and legal responsibilities. Furthermore, they are principles that contribute to building a solid foundation for our growth and recognition in our area of activity”, adds Paulo Milliet Roque, President Director of the association.
