The 5th edition of the award, a benchmark in IT, highlights case studies from educational institutions that use technology to improve management and the student journey.
TOTVS, the largest technology company in Brazil, has opened applications for its... 5th edition of the TOTVS Brasil Award that gets things done. The initiative celebrates the leading role of companies that use TOTVS technology as a strategic lever to boost their businesses through digitalization and innovation. The category Educational It recognizes educational institutions that innovate in academic and administrative management, positively impacting the entire student journey, from obtaining a degree to graduation.
“Education is the foundation for the future, and technology is the engine that drives its evolution. Today, excellent educational management requires a 360º view of the student and the institution, integrating academic, financial, and administrative processes. The award celebrates institutions that embrace this transformation, using technology not only to optimize management but also to create richer and more personalized learning experiences,” says Rafael Pinheiro, Director of Educational Products at TOTVS.
The previous edition honored one of the most traditional institutions in the country, the Mackenzie Presbyterian Institute, as the grand winner in the category. Alongside him, as finalists, were leading players in their respective fields such as Ceuma University (UNICEUMA), a Brazilian Union of Catholic Education (UBEC), a Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo and the American School of Victoria, showcasing the diversity and strength of innovation in the sector.
The feeling of recognition was a milestone for the participants. “For us, being finalists was a great step for the entire Ceuma Group team, which implemented the system and dedicates itself to it day after day. The feeling is one of a job well done!” declared one participant. Ita Jairon Cantanhede, Development Coordinator of the Ceuma Group, one of the finalists.
Participating companies can compete in one of the 12 award categories. They can also compete in the special categories of HR, Marketing & Sales, and Innovation – Lei do Bem (Brazilian Innovation Law). Projects will be evaluated by expert committees based on criteria such as innovation, operational gain, financial impact, and others, according to their respective categories.
