The Brazil, Digital Country Movement, with the support of the Brazilian Association of Software Companies (ABES), announces the 2025 edition of Brazil, Digital Country Award, which now has four categories, valuing different profiles of contributions to technological advancement: Ambassador, Protagonist, Protagonist Institution and MOST Admired Solutions.
Digital Protagonism in Voting
the category Protagonist Brazil, Digital Country is the only one open to public participation. It recognizes citizens who, through their actions, have contributed significantly to the democratization of technology. The initial selection of names is made by the event organizers, but the winner is determined by public voting on the award's official website, which ends on the deadline of September 14th.
Innovation in the Private Sector
The new category MOST Admired Solutions for a Digital Brazil is dedicated to companies associated with ABES. It values digital solutions already implemented and in operation, which generate concrete results in strategic subcategories: Smart Cities, Health, Education, Agriculture and Financial SectorSolutions in the pilot or proof-of-concept phase will not be considered.
The Recognition Committee will review applications based on a form completed by the companies, focusing on criteria such as innovation, social and economic impact, and proven results. The application deadline is also September 14th.
Recognition of Leadership and Institutions
The categories Ambassador Brazil, Digital Country and Protagonist Institution Brazil, Digital Country The Recognition Committee determines the winners. The first honors individuals who excelled in digital transformation in 2024, aligned with the movement's values. The second awards institutions that contributed measurable advances in the field.
Winners and honorees in all four categories will be revealed on October 8, 2025, during the ABES Summit, at the JW Marriott Hotel in São Paulo. The event will be the stage for celebrating achievements and recognizing the efforts that drive an increasingly digital Brazil.
