ABES - Brazilian Association of Software Companies promoted the first virtual meeting of 2021 with a chat about Israel and the opportunities for partnerships in this dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem.

Café com Israel took place on February 10, at 8:30 am, with the participation of Daniel Skaba, co-founder & CEO of IB! Tech; Marco Faldini, Associate Partner at IB! Tech; and Rodolfo Fücher, president of the organization, who welcomed the participants.

Daniel explained that technological innovations started focused on the local market and then started to be exported to other countries. In view of Israel's size, researchers and entrepreneurs looked at the needs of other markets. “We are seeing a sensational movement for the growth of entrepreneurs in Brazil. It is important to encourage dialogue between entrepreneurs from both nations, bringing universities and industry together in all areas ”, he said.

Marco also commented on the focus on developing solutions to meet internal needs. It was expanded with globalization from the 1990s onwards, economic reforms, encouraging entrepreneurship and opening up to Venture Corporate.

Another point addressed in the virtual meeting was the need for Brazil to have more investments in innovation coming from the private sector. They also said that partnerships with Brazilian startups will allow the “tropicalization” of Israeli solutions to the country's reality.
