TIVIT's cybersecurity area serves dozens of customers from the most varied segments such as large industries, insurance companies, health and finance and last year it grew by more than 160%

The demand for cybersecurity products and services has increased in recent years due to the various cyberattacks that have occurred in large companies, industries and government sectors around the world, in addition, we have had the advent of privacy regulations such as the GDPR in Europe and the LGPD here in Brazil. This made companies look for different types of solutions on the market to be protected from attacks and other cyber incidents, thus preserving their businesses and protecting the personal data of their users/customers.

TIVIT, a Brazilian multinational and one stop shop of technology, aims to grow the cybersecurity business line in 2023 in 50%. The company has always been concerned with the security of its services and solutions, TIVIT has been operating in security for over 15 years, and in recent years the multinational has expanded its culture and security solutions to protect itself. Since 2018, the company has reinforced its security teams for its corporate and datacenter environments with dedicated teams for each security pillar and working on various cyber solutions for protection and prevention.

In 2019, the teams came together to form the Cyber Security business unit, with the aim of expanding its service provision and having a specific line of solutions to work with its customers. “Due to the challenges in improving cybersecurity for such a broad and complex environment that we maintain at TIVIT in serving our customers, we perceive this important demand to be explored. The success achieved in the internal actions demonstrated that we could expand these practices as a business model”, says Eduardo Gonçales, CISO (Chief Information Security Officer) at TIVIT.

TIVIT's own customers, when they began to learn about the creation of this cybersecurity structure, were also interested. “Our first cybersecurity offers were complements to services that we started to include in the scope of our Base clients. With the expansion of our portfolio, we started looking for the main players in the market to expand our solutions and partnerships, we recruited new specialists in cyber in order to meet the new demands of the market.”, says Thiago Tanaka, Head of CyberSecurity LoB at TIVIT .

In 2020, when the world began to face the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, there was a great demand for digital security solutions in Brazil, companies had to carry out an accelerated digital transformation and began to feel more exposed and suffer impacts to their businesses for not being prepared for this change, starting to understand the importance of these services. “Having listened to our customers a year earlier was very important. We gained enough experience and knowledge to help companies during this period, anticipating actions that made these customers more resilient”, explains Gonçales. “We also took the opportunity to expand outside Brazil, starting to serve all of Latin America, taking all the expertise we obtain from our successful cases in Brazil”, he adds.

Today, TIVIT has a highly comprehensive portfolio of services for different scenarios and situations. The company is able to deliver from basic services to advanced security and attack recovery projects, evolving processes, creating automation and raising the level of maturity for customers. In addition, it offers forensic investigation work for cyber attacks, deployment and management of tools, 24×7 staff assistance, threat intelligence activities, consulting services and cyber products, always looking at the market to keep up with changes in threats and technological evolutions to structure solutions and preventive strategies that can avoid impacts and mitigate security risks.

Finally, TIVIT has also incorporated into its cybersecurity line of business, assessment services, awareness and compliance with governance practices and protection of personal data integrated with information security services.

The cybersecurity unit has more than 100 professionals in Brazil and LATAM, with specialists in the most diverse areas of cyber and with the main certifications recognized by the market. TIVIT is constantly evolving to provide an adequate response to any type of incident. Always looking for the most advanced tools on the market and working to launch new products for customers.

“CyberSec is one of TIVIT's most promising business units. We have been working hard to align our portfolio with market needs and we have been very successful in that regard. Our ambition is to be a leader in the Brazilian market and we believe we are in the right direction based on the evolution and results we have achieved”, said Daniel Galante, Chief Operations Officer and Chief Products Officer at TIVIT.
