Companies jointly develop new solutions to accelerate application migration, modernization and deployment across on-premises and hybrid cloud environments
Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), the world's largest provider of IT infrastructure services, today announced an expanded strategic partnership with SAP, focused on developing new solutions to help customers solve their most complex digital business transformation challenges. .
In doing so, companies leveraged the SAP Business Transformation Center and SAP's vast ERP systems know-how, along with Kyndryl's deep experience in data services, application migration, and modernization to provide customers with an efficient path to the cloud. and economical.
Specifically, Kyndryl and SAP collaborated on a digital blueprint resource that allows customers and partners to strategically assess, define and design their migration and transformation plan for their transition from existing SAP ERP systems to SAP S/4HANA.
In close collaboration with Kyndryl, SAP plans to expand the SAP Business Transformation Center, which helps customers efficiently transform their environment to drive business value by shifting to and using the latest SAP products.
To facilitate and guide customer migrations through the digital blueprint, Kyndryl will establish a new center of excellence focused on educating and expanding the skill base and experience of its SAP professionals.
Digital Blueprint is an application migration accelerator that uses data-driven guidance to provide valuable insights for IT specialists and architects. This approach helps CIOs and other IT decision makers gain valuable insights from their corporate data to enable more informed choices relevant to specific needs, rather than relying on a standardized process or tool.
In addition to working collaboratively with SAP to outline and develop the digital blueprint for the SAP Business Transformation Center, Kyndryl is also a user and has successfully applied the solution to examine, navigate and migrate its complex IT environment with thousands of applications, Hundreds of different information and data warehouses, multiple master data applications and visualization tools, multiple extensive customizations with overlapping capabilities.
