Collaboration agreement between companies unites connectivity and consultancy to benefit producers

KPMG and TIM announce an unprecedented collaboration agreement that goes beyond expanding connectivity to agribusiness: it will help boost productivity and gains in the sector. By reconciling the largest 4G coverage in the countryside in Brazil with the experience of one of the largest consultancies in the world, the companies unite expertise in an integrated project that will offer technology and innovation, combined with business knowledge, allowing the search for solutions to the problems of the field with analysis of data extracted from the agricultural operation, transforming them into strategic information for decision making.

In parallel with the installation of equipment such as an antenna, tower and devices, the initiative provides for the development of feasibility studies for the optimization and implementation of a customized technological network for the real needs of that area, making it possible to transform data into decision-making even more assertive. With the installation of these resources, the neighboring population can also benefit because they will have access to quality coverage in these large agricultural conglomerates.

“With the agreement, KPMG brings all its experience to leverage increased productivity and efficiency in field operations using technology and connectivity. This will optimize investments for a data-driven farming operation. From now on, agribusiness companies will be able to contract projects with the two companies, which also continue with their operations independently. In other words, it is another excellent option for producers who will have the greatest coverage in TIM's field”, explains KPMG's managing partner, Eduardo Pereira.

For Paulo Humberto Gouvea, Director of Corporate Solutions at TIM Brasil, the partnership brings advantages to all those involved: “We want to bring rural producers across the country a winning combination: TIM, as a reference operator for agribusiness and the greatest 4G coverage. in the country, and KPMG, one of the largest business consultancies in the world. Together, we will promote digitization projects that complement the connectivity offer, essential to expand operations and services”.
