Agreement aims to expand the offer of products in the country, including through cross selling with other market leaders served by Ingram Micro; with highlights for items from the Evolve, Speak and PanaCast lines, equipment will be available from stock for immediate delivery with a primary focus on the corporate world, where demand for better equipment for virtual meetings is at an all-time high

Ingram Micro Brasil, a subsidiary of the global distributor of technology solutions and services, has just signed a partnership with Jabra, a multinational manufacturer of headsets, speakers and cameras for videoconferencing. The agreement aims to expand the offer of the brand's products to resellers in Brazil through a strategy based on stock for immediate shipment and cross selling with other manufacturers that are part of the distributor's portfolio. With that, Ingram Micro starts to work the entire Jabra line, with highlights for the headphones of the Evolve line, the Speak voice transmission devices and the PanaCast videoconferencing cameras.
For Alexandre Nakano, product director of the Logical Security, Network and Communications units at Ingram Micro Brasil, the new partnership should be of interest to all technology resellers who already work with Ingram Micro Brasil, both for the quality of the products and integration with various other manufacturers, such as practicality, since most of Jabra's products are plug and play. “Ingram Micro is a major Jabra distributor in other countries, and we want to expand our collaboration portfolio in Brazil, further consolidating this regional partnership. We will leverage our vast portfolio and extensive experience in the segment to meet all the needs of our channels and deliver the best solutions for video collaboration and remote work.”
Nakano also points out that, in addition to the wide dissemination of Jabra items and solutions, the company will offer a vast inventory and training for the recruitment of new resellers for the brand. “Our strategy also involves expanding Jabra's market even further through our channels, which today are different because they operate in several markets and are widespread throughout the country. At the same time, resellers find in Ingram Micro several options to best serve their end customers”.
Jabra's Country Manager, Carlos Souza, points out that for the manufacturer the focus of the partnership is to increase the supply in order to meet the demands of the corporate world. “Our highlight is the videoconferencing segment, in which we operate with innovative products that are fully aligned with current market needs”.
“Ingram Micro is a recognized distributor for Jabra and the success of this partnership, especially in Europe, was a decisive factor for the agreement in Brazil. We are expanding a victorious commercial relationship, with excellent work carried out in other regions”, evaluates Souza. “Jabra has always been very close to the big players, and Ingram Micro's vast portfolio, with complementary brands to ours, can represent excellent business opportunities, with great reach, bundles, complete offers, etc. The main purpose [of the partnership with Ingram Micro] is to navigate other areas and make better offers.”
