Ingram Micro, a Brazilian subsidiary of one of the leading global distributors of IT solutions and services, announces the appointment of Guilherme Barreiro as the new director of the BRLink business unit, Brazil's leading managed services provider (MSP). “I am honored to be part of such a talented team and to be able to contribute with my experience in the sector”, says the executive. “BRLink has been developing incredible work in recent years. I want to continue Rafael Marangoni's great legacy and collaborate even more with the company's strategic objectives. In addition to BRLink, Guilherme also fully assumes the entire Services offering unit at Ingram Micro Brasil.
Barreiro is a graduate in information systems and has specialization in digital leadership and advice, in addition to being co-founder of Escola da Nuvem. The executive, who arrives at BRLink, has more than 20 years of experience in the IT market and great expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity and technological solutions for clients from the most diverse segments. Throughout his career, he worked for companies such as T-Systems, IBM, Locaweb and Nextios.
The new director takes over the position left by Rafael Marangoni, founder of BRLink and who now assumes a strategic position within Ingram Micro's global cloud area. As Global Executive Director of Cloud Services, Marangoni will work directly from Ingram Micro's headquarters in California (USA) and will aim to optimize the company's growth, adding value to customers and partners.
