The company also recorded the use of 100% of renewable energy globally, which led to recognition with the EcoVadis Gold seal.

The Group Engineering, a global information technology and consulting company specializing in digital transformation, announced the publication of its 2024 Sustainability Report. The document, audited by Deloitte, shows a 27% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions (Scopes 1 and 2) across its global operations. The analysis consolidates data from 80 sites in 21 countries and reaffirms the company's commitment to integrating the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) agenda into its business plan, with a direct impact on its activities in Brazil.

Advances in corporate governance are a key pillar of the company's results. The company increased the number of women in leadership positions in 20%, an important step in building a more diverse and equitable workplace. This performance has been validated by international recognition, such as the Gold Medal from EcoVadis, a platform that evaluates sustainability practices in global supply chains.

Another important piece of information concerns the CDP Climate Change rating, which improved from a C to a B, attesting to the quality and transparency in the management of its emissions and climate risks. The entire report follows the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), the benchmark for sustainability reporting.

Regarding professional development, in 2024, the company invested in training its teams by offering more than 400 courses and launching 15 Academy programs. These initiatives resulted in the achievement of more than 1,600 professional certifications, preparing employees for the challenges of digitalization and the low-carbon economy.

"For us, investing in people is the engine that drives innovation capable of creating technological solutions with a positive impact, benefiting both customers in their digital transformation journeys and society as a whole," says Filippo Di Cesare, CEO of Engineering in Latin America.

In a corporate landscape where sustainability has gone from being an ancillary to becoming the core of the strategy, the group is charting a path of concrete actions. By 2024, for example, the Italian headquarters reached the milestone of 100% of energy consumed from renewable sources, and the energy optimization of the Pont-Saint-Martin Data Center in Italy demonstrated, in practice, the path to efficiency. These examples embody a plan that connects global goals to local results.

"The release of this global report reinforces a commitment that already guides decisions in Brazil. With the local ESG plan and clear goals, we understand that Engineering's role goes beyond our operations. It also involves enabling clients and society for a digital transition that is, by its very nature, sustainable. The innovation we develop is the means to generate positive impact and strengthen a more resilient and responsible business ecosystem," Di Cesare notes.
