There will be more than 200 hours of content and 500 speakers who will discuss AI,
digital transformation, connectivity, cybersecurity, public policies, among other topics

futurecom, the largest connectivity, technology, and innovation platform in Latin America, a key hub for cybersecurity solutions, and a facilitator of digital transformation, will host discussions on the most promising trends, challenges, and advances in communication and connectivity. The event will bring together approximately 300 exhibiting brands spread across an area of over 25,000 m².

The 30th edition of the event will be held from September 30th to October 2nd at São Paulo Expo in São Paulo, bringing together a robust innovation ecosystem, with over 200 hours of content and approximately 500 speakers. Representatives from ABES will be present at the Future Cyber forums, the Future Gov forum, and the plenary sessions.

At the October 1st, in Plenary 1, the debate will be about the “National AI Plan (PBIA) and national digital competitiveness”. The presidents of the Association of Information and Communication Technology Companies (TIC) and Digital Technologies (Brasscom) have been confirmed, Alfonso Nina, and the Brazilian Association of Software Companies (ABES), Andriei Gutierrez, in addition to Eliana Cardoso Immediato Azambuja, general coordinator of Digital Governance at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), Prof. Carlos Nazareth Marins, director of the National Telecommunications Institute (INATEL) and Waldemar Gonçalves Ortunho Junior, CEO of the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD). The mediation will be carried out by Walter Wolf, president of the Brazilian Association of Artificial Intelligence (ABRIA).

Future Cyber

The theme “Emerging Threats and Security Trends” will be debated by Diogo Vasconcellos, leader of the Startups Committee of the Brazilian Association of Software Companies (Abes); Paulo Baldin, CISO of CLA; Vanderlei Rigatieri, founder of WDC Networks; Carina Hernandes, executive in Information Security, Risk Management and Compliance at Womcy; and Marcelo Alves, Anatel advisor, with mediation by Carlos Sampaio, CISO of Bidweb. September 30th, at 9am.

Jonatas Rossetti, Quantum specialist at Bradesco; Vera Medina, executive at Womcy; Gustavo Carvalho, CEO of Visa Acceptance Solutions; Simone Letieri, of the Goal; and Carlos Rischioto, Principal Manager of Client Engineering at IBM, will speak about “AI, Quantum Computing and Cybersecurity”. The mediation will be carried out by Eduardo Felipe Matias, lawyer for Elias Matias. October 1st, at 3:15 pm.

“Cybersecurity as Public Policy” will be another debate panel, which will feature the participation of Andrea Thome, executive at Womcy, and Demi Getschko, CEO of NIC.br, under the mediation of Humberto Pontes, from Anatel. October 2nd, at 10am. “Critical Systems Security” will be the topic discussed by Ana Cerqueira, executive at Womcy, and William Aquino, from Inatel, under the mediation of Carlos Henrique Borella. October 2nd, at 11:15 am.

The panel “Governance and Ethical Challenges: How to Act?” will feature the participation of Erica Delgado, executive at Womcy; Marcelo Mendes dos Santos, CISO of Neo Hypeone; Carlos Alberto da Costa, CEO of JC2Sec; and Felipe de Araujo Monteiro, partner lawyer and leader of the Contracts and Innovation Desk sector at Kasznar Leonardos. Daniella Caverni, partner lawyer at EFCAN Advogados, will be the mediator. October 2nd, at 2pm.

The panel “Digital Literacy and Connected Education” will be attended by Rafael Parente, PhD in Education from NYU; Vicente Bandeira, Advisor to the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel); Irani Cardoso da Silva, Manager of Consumer Relations Channels, Consumer Relations Superintendence – SRC Anatel and Flavio Santos, general director of the School Connectivity Management Entity (Eace), with mediation by Camila Murta, leader of the Public Procurement Working Group of the Brazilian Association of Software Companies (Abes). September 30th, at 9:30 am.

In day September 30th, to the 2:30 pm, the panel “Data Centers: the industrial revolution in Brazil” will bring together leading experts from the public and private sectors. The discussion will feature the participation of Rodolfo Fucher, member of the board of directors of the Brazilian Association of Software Companies (Abes); Sergio Sgobbi, Director of Institutional and Government Relations at Brasscom; Bruno Gonçalves Santos, coordinator of Data Center Infrastructure at IBGE; Gustavo Santana Borges, executive superintendent of Anatel; Thiago Camargo Lopes, VP of InvestSP; Juliano Stanzani, Director of Sectoral Policy at the Ministry of Communications; and Marcos Siqueira, CRO and head of strategy at Ascenty.
