The event takes place during the INTRA-LOG Expo South America fair, from September 23 to 25 – Expo Center Norte – Yellow Pavilion

THE INTRA-LOG Expo South America, the only event dedicated to Intralogistics and Automation in South America, which takes place in São Paulo, from September 23rd to 25th, will promote the II 2nd INTRA-LOG Forum – a program of seminars covering technical and strategic topics, presented by experts, renowned companies, and industry authorities. The second edition of INTRA-LOG Expo will showcase the latest products from over 250 global brands in the Yellow Pavilion at Expo Center Norte.

Organized by INTERLINK Exhibitions and IMAM, the INTRA-LOG Forum will take place over three days, in parallel with the fair, and was designed to bring high-level and relevant content to all levels of professionals in the intralogistics and materials handling automation sector, in addition to promoting an exchange of experiences with case studies and best practices in the logistics chain of companies from various segments, such as Embraer, M. Dias Branco, Eurofarma, Fagron, Leroy Merlin.

Gil Giardelli, one of Brazil's leading figures in innovation, artificial intelligence, and the digital future, also co-founder of 5 ERA and a member of the AI for Developing Countries Forum, will be this year's Keynote Speaker. He will address topics such as Artificial Intelligence and the impacts of technology on companies and professionals. A speaker, author, professor, and scholar of innovation and the digital economy, Giardelli disseminates concepts and activities related to the AI Economy, networked society, innovation, and human collaboration. He is recognized for his contributions to digital transformation, Industry 6.0, Society 5.0, H2H, ESG Data, Web 3.0, and blockchain, and has delivered over 1,500 lectures in Brazil and other countries.

Eduardo Banzato, the event's content curator and director of the IMAM Group, highlights that the program features practical case studies that demonstrate how hybrid solutions and the integration of simple and advanced systems are enabling companies to optimize their operations more efficiently and intelligently. "It's a unique opportunity for those seeking to learn and apply cutting-edge technologies, adapted to local realities, without losing sight of operational efficiency and cost-benefit."

The lectures of the II 2nd INTRA-LOG Forum will be held on September 23rd, 24th and 25th, from 9am to 5pm, and will be divided into four pillars: Artificial Intelligence applied to LogisticsOperational Excellence and TechnologyAutomation and Robotics and Practical Business Cases. The full schedule of lectures can be accessed on here

"With the Forum, in addition to the fair, and other attractions designed exclusively for the sector, we want to provide INTRA-LOG Expo visitors with a 360º view of available technologies and how to apply them to their business, such as Artificial Intelligence, trends and solutions for operational excellence, productivity and sustainability in intralogistics," says Cassiano Facchinetti, Managing Director of INTERLINK Exhibitions, co-founder of the event.

Networking and success stories

Lucas Almeida de Morais, Process and SCM engineer at Embraer, will present the company's case study at the Forum and emphasizes that cost reduction remains a significant challenge for companies, but is no longer the sole focus.

"Today, Embraer, for example, seeks efficiency through intelligence, which involves: added value to the customer, with faster, safer, and more personalized deliveries; sustainability; supply chain resilience, especially in the face of unpredictable global events; and continuous innovation, which often requires investment, not cuts. Logistics 4.0 helps precisely with this balance, by enabling more strategic decisions and leaner, more efficient operations."

Paulo Scheibe, Director of Quality and Development at WHB Autopeças, states that operational excellence and cultural transformation in a company are closely linked. "It's more than a set of tools; it's a model of cultural transformation. Operational excellence isn't born solely from adopting new procedures, but rather from how these procedures are standardized, sustained, and evolved over time."

Marcela Cristaldo, General Manager of Intralogistics at Eurofarma, will present on the third day of the Forum and emphasizes that the greatest challenge for professionals in this field is to efficiently and productively reduce gaps between processes and areas. "The technological solutions available on the market and even the ideas we develop arise from the needs identified to achieve these goals and are increasingly essential to success."

Gustavo Pratta, Fagron's Logistics Manager, praises the Forum's initiative and notes that automation in intralogistics strengthens competitiveness and enhances companies' image, in addition to providing a better customer experience. "Better solutions improve process accuracy and quality, accelerate deadlines, and increase operational excellence."
