The Swedish innovation agency will support projects in the areas of healthcare, mining, bioeconomy and sustainable cities

Embrapii (Brazilian Industrial Research and Innovation Company) launched a new call for international cooperation to promote industrial innovation projects in Brazil, this time between national companies and Swedish companies. The partnership foresees that the national organization will contribute 1/3 to 50% of the value of the Brazilian company's project, while Vinnova – Swedish Government Agency for Innovation Systems, its acronym in Swedish – reserves up to R$ 1.3 million for projects from participating Swedish companies.

The cooperation agreement offers Brazilian industries the opportunity to collaborate with Swedish companies in joint research and innovation projects. Technological development projects in the areas of health, mining, bioeconomy and sustainable cities will be selected.

The deadline for submitting projects is February 8, 2024, via the link https://embrapii.org.br/international cooperation/open-call-sweden/. Interested Brazilian companies must contribute part of the project value with financial resources. The remainder will be applied by Embrapii, VINNOVA and research centers accredited as Embrapii Units.
