With the support of data services, artificial intelligence and other services of the cloud platform, the company also gained scale in the computational field.

Ame Digital – a fintech and mobile business platform of Americanas SA, which aims to democratize access to financial products and services – chose to bring robustness to its corporate Data Lake with Microsoft Azure. With more than 25 million downloads, Ame Digital recorded a transaction volume of R$ 5.6 billion in the third quarter of 2021, a figure that reflects a growth of 132% compared to the same period of the previous year. The use of the cloud for data management aims to accompany this growth and promote more analytical intelligence.

Carlos Gatto, director of Technology and Innovation at Ame, explains that the company opted for Azure to support the operation, which, in addition to the available integrations, provides scalability and the desired robustness. “From the cloud, we were able to evolve faster and look at the company as a whole from the point of view of integration with all corporate tools”, he says.

The solutions used allow the data that enter the system to be processed and, based on artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning, transformed into the information needed to build mobile and cloud-native applications. The entire process of capturing and managing data is done in real time, in a scalable, secure and simple environment, thus facilitating the development of applications by the areas of development and operations.

According to Ricardo Fernandes, Vice President of Enterprise Business at Microsoft Brazil, the migration to the cloud also brought a competitive advantage to fintech. “As a company that works with a high volume of data, the partnership with Microsoft also allowed Ame to achieve a competitive advantage due to the scalability of the platform and the democratization of data for all areas of the company, which allows each team to use the technology according to their own needs”, he concludes.
