The digital transformation in agribusiness increases productivity and enhances efficiency gains. By investing in technology, it is possible to automate processes, control demands, improve working methods, reduce operational failures, etc.
With 2400 direct employees, about 8,000 customers, more than 300 integrated producers, 1,250 orders per day and 14% of production destined for export, Agrodanieli, a company that operates in all links in the agribusiness sector, decided to invest in the management management system (ERP) of Senior Sistemas, as a crucial point of information connections for all its businesses.
“This integration brought data intelligence to the fore and enabled us to have an integrated view of our business. We operate in the animal protein market. We have 2 poultry and 1 pig slaughterhouses. 50% of our production is marketed in RS, but we also operate in SC, PR, SP, RJ, and export to more than 30 different countries ”, highlights the Information Technology Manager at Agrodanieli, Rodrigo Augusto Menon.
“Our scenario today calls for a much higher level of compliance for tax, accounting and financial processes. With a robust ERP we have the balance sheet closing on the twelfth business day. And much more systemic support for business processes ”, reinforces the Agrodanieli IT Manager.
Through the ERP it is possible to manage all the units of the Group and the movements of what each one of them makes or produces. Before this investment, the company did not yet have the integration of around 20 management software, and today they are all integrated with each other. This was the focus in 2020, enabling and optimizing the integration of all these information systems with ERP, processing and uniting all data and making it available in an intelligent and unified way for the entire management team.
According to the Head of Agribusiness at Senior Sistemas, Cintia Leitão, the ERP solution is like the heart of business management. “It is no use investing in different systems, drones, intelligent machines, if we don't have a good ERP behind, connecting all technologies and transforming data into intelligence. ERP is the foundation of efficient data management ”.
The company's digital transformation was not just about ERP. Agrodanieli has developed a new positioning with an IT area totally focused on the business.
“The objective of this investment is to transform the company's climate and positioning. With that Agrodanieli aims to focus on the business, with faster responses, budget management, investment alternatives. For that, we chose Senior Sistemas' ERP to be the focal point, which brings together all the management solutions of our company. In addition to ERP, we also use HCM for HR Management ”.
With the new ERP, Agrodanieli is able to track sales, make decisions based on data and numbers, interact in a simple way with other software, and deal with an average of 600 calls per month. When starting the digital transformation process, the company was also concerned with structuring the physical part, innovating the data center, the network, all with the aim of operating with high availability and ensuring easy access to data. A very attentive look at market trends, which currently call for increasingly digital processes.
