Through the solution created between the data analytics startup and the Brazilian stock exchange, Acrefi members will be able to share their data on signs of fraud, meeting the requirements of the resolution.

To support institutions in this new stage of combating fraud, the National Association of Credit, Financing and Investment Institutions (ACREFI) joins forces with Data Rudder and B3. Together, the companies will present DataBusters to members: a solution for sending and consulting fraud data

With less than a month to go before Joint Resolution No. 6 comes into force, institutions are organizing themselves to meet the demands of the Central Bank. In the regulations published in May this year, the monetary authority determined the sharing of data on signs of fraud in organizations.

The initiative arrives in conjunction with other Bacen projects, focusing on reinforcing security actions in the financial system, mainly in relation to PIX.

The system was introduced to the market at the beginning of September and aims to highlight the opportunities that arise from compliance with the regulations. “When we created DataBusters, this was one of the priority questions for us. In addition to interoperability between systems and all the other requirements set out in the resolution itself, we knew we could deliver something more to our customers. That's why we created an information quality seal and a risk score for each piece of evidence”, explains Rafaela Helbing, CEO of Data Rudder.

In addition to exclusive conditions and new resources, ACREFI members will be able to comply with the regulations free of charge. In other words, companies that choose to simply comply with the Central Bank's requirements will be able to use the system at no cost when sending information.

According to the startup's co-founder, the idea is not only to present a competitive advantage to the market, but to really support institutions in the demands of Resolution No. 6 and in preventing fraud.

B3, the company's partner in other projects, will be responsible for all infrastructure and data governance, in addition to contributing to the security and neutrality known throughout the financial ecosystem. Information can be shared manually through the platform or automatically via API.

“B3 and Data Rudder have the best product on the market to comply with Bacen Joint Resolution No. 6. We deliver security, resilience, agility and in-depth knowledge of the financial market. This partnership we have just signed with ACREFI already demonstrates the recognition of our purpose in supporting the sustainable development of the market”, says Icaro Demarchi Araujo Leite, superintendent of Insurance Products at B3.

Members will be able to share data in five categories: registration, debit and credit cards, payment methods, TED/DOC and PIX.

Through the resources offered on the platform, companies will be able to enrich analysis models and clearly visualize the relationship network associated with signs of fraud. With the information quality seal and the risk score, institutions will be able to check, for example, whether a PIX key, a CPF or email is part of an orange account scheme or not.

“ACREFI constantly seeks better solutions and conditions for its members. Given this, DataBusters, a system developed specifically for Joint Resolution nº6, guarantees the solidity and security that the market needs for regulatory compliance”, highlights Tadeu Silva, president of Acrefi.
