NVIDIA surpassed Samsung Electronics by US$$ $53 billion in revenue.

Revenue from semiconductors for Artificial Intelligence processing surpassed US$200 billion.

Global semiconductor revenue totaled US$793 billion in 2025, an increase of US$213 billion from the previous year, according to preliminary results from... Gartner, Inc.., a business insights and technology company.

“"The semiconductors of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including processors, High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) and network components continued to drive unprecedented growth in the semiconductor market, accounting for nearly a third of total sales in 2025,” says Rajeev Rajput, Senior Principal Analyst at Gartner. “This dominance is expected to increase as infrastructure spending on AI "They are projected to exceed US$1.3 trillion in 2026."”

NVIDIA strengthened its lead, while Intel continued to lose market share.

Among the top 10 semiconductor suppliers, the positions of five suppliers have changed compared to 2024.

- A NVIDIA NVIDIA extended its lead over Samsung to US$53 billion by 2025. NVIDIA became the first vendor to surpass US$100 billion in semiconductor sales, contributing over US$35 billion to industry growth in the year.

- A Samsung Electronics Samsung maintained its second position. Samsung's semiconductor revenue of US$$ 73 billion was driven by the memory segment (up 13%), while non-memory related revenue fell 8% year-over-year.

- A SK Hynix It moved into third place and totaled US$61 billion in revenue in 2025. This represents an increase of US$371 billion compared to the previous year, driven by strong demand for HBM in AI servers.

- A Intel It lost market share, ending the year with 6% of market share, half of what it was in 2021.
