Initiative responds to 60% growth in demand for technology training among early-career professionals

In a scenario of accelerated transformations driven by technology and artificial intelligence, young professionals face the challenge of entering the job market with new skills. They must develop technical repertoire, practical vision, and human skills that ensure their relevance in a constantly changing future.

According to data from Alura + FIAP for Companies, the demand for programs aimed at developing interns and trainees has grown 60% in the last year, highlighting the need to prepare talent from the first steps of their career.

In response to this growing demand, Alura + FIAP Para Empresas developed a specific journey for Talent Acceleration that are reaching organizations, with technology fundamentals, behavioral skills and the use of AI applied to the real context of organizations.

The program was designed to update the traditional internship and trainee model, shortening the gap between the new professional's arrival and their practical experience. The track integrates learning across various skills and competencies, particularly those related to artificial intelligence, such as the use of copilots and generative AI tools, with ethical and productivity guidelines. This is complemented by content on data, programming (such as Python and JavaScript), cloud concepts and digital collaboration, as well as communication, adaptability, and teamwork.

Among the organizations that have already adopted initiatives in this format are Magalu, which recently announced a trainee program focused on artificial intelligence developed in partnership with Alura, and the Bradesco, which structured a training program for young technology talent. The examples show how different sectors—from retail to finance—are investing in their talent from the beginning of their careers, connecting education and practice.

The initiative aligns with global talent development trends. According to the World Economic Forum, about 40% of the employees' skills will be transformed until 2030.

"We've been increasingly monitoring the demand for technology skills development for various careers, including those just starting out in the job market. We're working alongside pioneering companies on this journey, supporting the preparation of professionals with technical foundations and a continuous learning mindset," says Tavane Gurdos, general director of Alura + FIAP Para Empresas.
