50-hour program offers comprehensive training in back-end development and software quality assurance, promoting diversity in the technology sector

Bradesco, in partnership with the DIO education platform, announces the launch of Bootcamp PcD Tech Bradesco – Java & QA DeveloperThe initiative aims to provide free training for professionals in Java back-end development and software quality assurance (QA), with a focus on the inclusion of people with disabilities (PwD). The program seeks to expand access to technology education and create real opportunities for job placement.

With 50 hours of content, the Bootcamp offers practical and theoretical training in technologies widely used in the sector, such as Java, JUnit (unit testing framework), Mockito (library for simulating dependencies in tests), BDD – Behavior-Driven Development (an approach that bridges business and technology gaps through collaborative specifications), as well as Git and GitHub (code versioning and collaboration tools). Participants will also have access to four hands-on projects and live mentoring sessions with industry experts.

Throughout the program, students will be able to apply the concepts learned to real-world projects, preparing them to work as Junior Java Backend Developers or QA Engineers in technology companies. Upon completion, they will be able to develop REST APIs (widely used communication interfaces between systems), implement automated tests, and work with agile methodologies, strengthening their employability.

"DIO is delighted to support initiatives that not only empower but also promote digital inclusion and access to career opportunities for all. With this program, we are not only training developers but also opening doors to a transformation in the technology market," says Iglá Generoso, CEO of DIO.
