The new solution is capable of transcribing the conversation between doctor and patient, gathering the information spoken and captured by microphones, organizing it according to the characteristics of each piece of information (symptoms, profile, history); detecting characteristics of the anamnesis to suggest a code from the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD), supporting the doctor in a possible diagnosis for the patient being treated; and also interacting via chat, searching the database for non-identifiable data to support the healthcare professional in clinical decision-making. med.ai also provides prescriptions efficiently and helps reduce operating costs by optimizing the management of hospital information and resources.
“Each of us has been in a situation where we were treated and the doctor, while questioning the patient, types the information into the computer, without fully paying attention to the conversation with us. This takes time and makes the professional’s job more difficult, as they have to fill in several fields to generate a diagnosis. The new solution will have the same artificial intelligence as the company's Electronic Patient Record (PEP), which had its version with the addition of AI launched in May of this year and is registered with the National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa). Physicians working in healthcare institutions that use MV's clinical care software, such as Electronic Patient Records and Clinic, will be able to use med.ai natively directly in the software and free of charge during the first half of 2025. The tool is already available in Clinic and EHR as of HTML5 version 2022.003.09.
