Kyndryl (NYSE: KD), the world's largest provider of IT infrastructure services, today announced Spencer Gracias as its new General Manager for Brazil. Spencer joins Kyndryl from Stefanini, where he served as CEO of North America and Asia Pacific.
Brazil is a dynamic and innovative country that is at a crucial moment as its organizations proactively modernize their IT for a more global and digital future. According to IDC estimates, local companies are expected to spend US$ 459 million on enterprise AI in 2024. Furthermore, Brazil's interim leadership of the G20 in 2024 offered a valuable chance to advise policymakers on how to leverage digital potential and promote discussion about the responsible use of new technologies, encouraging inclusion and reducing inequalities.
Kyndryl is committed to helping Brazilian companies from all sectors to modernize so they can take advantage of the country's full market potential. An experienced executive with a track record of leading complex IT transformation for clients across many industries, including financial services, manufacturing and telecommunications, Spencer will lead Kyndryl Brasil in its next phase of evolution.
In his more than 30-year career, Spencer has held various management and executive roles in IT services, focusing on complex businesses and business development in the United States, Mexico and Asia-Pacific. He has a degree in business administration and an MBA and post-MBA in marketing and strategic resource management.
“Spencer brings a dynamic leadership style, with a deep focus on customers and experience in leading high-performance teams. We are excited to have him on board and look forward to accelerating the modernization journey for our customers across Brazil,” said Xerxes Cooper, president of Kyndryl Strategic Markets.
“I am deeply honored to be part of Kyndryl. Together with our talented team, we are committed to further strengthening Kyndryl's presence in Brazil, cultivating skills and delivering unparalleled value to our customers as they prepare for the future,” said Spencer Gracias, General Director of Kyndryl Brasil.
His predecessor, Frank Koja, was named Vice President, Global Managing Partner at Kyndryl.
