The company reinforces its activities in favor of the advancement of education in Brazil, mobilizing actions that encourage an increase in the population's education, the productive insertion of young people and the acceleration of women's careers

TOTVS, the largest technology company in Brazil, made a public commitment to the Educa2030 Movement, of the UN Global Compact. The movement aims to engage companies to commit to ambitious goals for Brazilian educational advancement, focusing on increasing the population's education level, the productive inclusion of young people and the increase of women in STEM careers (careers in science, technology, engineering its math).
“Education is one of the country’s main agendas and needs to be constantly encouraged, both in the public and private sectors. We have been signatories to the UN Global Compact since 2014 and are happy to now support the Educa2030 Movement. This is another action on TOTVS' ESG agenda which, in the Social pillar, includes a commitment to SDG 4 – Quality Education, SDG 8 – Decent work and economic growth and support for IOS – Social Opportunity Institute, a non-profit institution which for 26 years has promoted free professional training and employability for young people in situations of social vulnerability and people with disabilities, also directing these talents to the job market”, says Vivian Broge, vice-president of Human Relations and Marketing at TOTVS.
Educa2030 was presented for the first time in November last year, at an international event during the World Human Rights Forum, in Geneva, as the most recent Ambition 2030 Strategy Movement, created by the UN Global Compact – Rede Brasil two years ago. The initiative is a call for the private sector to assume public goals to advance the Sustainable Development Goals.
The commitment reinforces TOTVS' position of continuing to positively impact the education and employability of young people in the country, especially the most vulnerable. The company has and practices an Organizational Sustainability Policy that reflects its purpose and vision on how its business can positively and sustainably influence and impact the entire ecosystem, through the connection of business, people and technology.
