Ingram Micro Brasil announces Paulo Renato Fernandes as the company's new director of the Commercial, Consumer, DC POS and Mobility area. According to Flávio Moraes, VP & Brazil Chief Executive at Ingram Micro, Fernandes' arrival at the company will add even more quality to the relationship with the channel and will be fundamental to accelerating business, developing growth opportunities and implementing business models that will give greater reach the distributor's initiatives. “Paulo and his talented team will certainly reinforce one of Ingram Micro’s priorities, which is high-quality service and support for resellers. His rich background and expertise will be fundamental in enhancing the business with new strategies and successful initiatives.”
Fernandes arrives at Ingram Micro with 34 years of experience in the IT area and with experience at large companies such as Tech Data, Symantec, Lenovo, Kodak Alaris and Agis. In his new role, the director says he is very motivated by the opportunity to contribute to this new professional project. “I came to contribute to strengthening partnerships with our channels, and my expectation is to help them, not only achieve their goals, but to do so in a positive way, allowing everyone to learn and have the best experience possible.”
Graduated in Computer Science, the executive has accumulated success stories in the Commercial, Consumer and Mobility areas, having led Corporate sales, Retail and Device and Mobility solutions projects. Based on his great knowledge of the IT and Automation Channel throughout Brazil, his main challenges will be managing the team on various business fronts, contributing to the company's success together with strategic partners.
“I want to take full advantage of the excellent work that has already been carried out by Ingram Micro and help develop new businesses”, highlights Fernandes. “The initial strategy is to maintain and accelerate what is already working so well, while developing areas where we have opportunities for improvement. In this scenario, my biggest challenge, alongside my talented team, is to gain even more space in the market and implement new initiatives and business models that represent practical benefits for the entire distribution channel”, points out the executive.
Finally, the new director, who will report directly to Flávio Moraes, reinforces that his initial objective is “to get to know the people, processes, systems, opportunities and challenges of the new role. Together with the team, we will develop plans for channels and suppliers that allow us to go even further in an agile and sustained way.”
