Alliance between Seal Sistemas BU and global leader in video monitoring facilitates access for national retailers to smart cameras dedicated to increasing security and profitability on the store floor
Seeking to increase its portfolio of integrated technologies to add more automation and data intelligence to the distribution chain, Seal Connect – a business unit of Seal Sistemas focused on intelligent IoT (internet of things) solutions – announces a partnership with Axis Communications, a leader global in video monitoring and focused on security solutions and business optimization.
This new strategic alliance, aimed at offering advanced technologies for the retail market, will seek to intensify the implementation of monitoring projects and analysis of consumer insights within the store, using smart cameras from the Swedish manufacturer, which operates in more than 50 countries. This way, retailers across Brazil will have easier access to solutions dedicated to increasing the profitability of the store floor, with greater safety, productivity and engagement of employees and customers.
With a portfolio enhanced by intelligent analysis applications and supported by advanced training, Axis now relies on Seal Connect to offer scalable products in Brazil with simplified integration, based on IP and innovations for security and video monitoring.

These are technologies such as networked solutions for video surveillance, access control, intercom and audio systems. All provide access to actionable insights, enabling a wide range of analyzes that support instant action. Within a supermarket, for example, it is possible to respond to security breaches as they occur, monitor customers' queuing habits and generate a heat map in order to identify sectors and times of highest demand.
To expand access to this portfolio, Axis works in collaboration with a selected range of technology and systems integration partners around the globe, such as Seal Connect. The objective is to meet the strong demand for automation solutions in security and business intelligence. The record numbers the company recorded in 2022 reflect this trend, with US$ 1.6 billion in global revenue and 20% year-on-year global growth.

In Brazil, alongside Seal Connect, Axis seeks to expand its market share in retail, one of Seal Sistemas' main operating segments – considered the largest integrator of advanced technologies for the entire supply chain in the national market. Together, both companies now offer retailers an integrated end-to-end solution. The methodology adopted by Seal Connect includes initial assessment (with process mapping and gap analysis), development, implementation and complete support to guarantee the sustainability of the project throughout its life cycle.
