Since its creation in 2021, the Portal Jundiaí Entrepreneur, developed by Companhia de Informática de Jundiaí, has already surpassed 1 million accesses. The employability platform has become a reference throughout the region and state. Today, the average is 600 accesses every day and industry and commerce also celebrate this agility of the municipality. To help the youngest citizen, CIJUN has now developed new features on the portal such as internship vacancies and first job.

Focused on the “entrepreneurship” and “job generation” axes, the new functionalities have the mission of facilitating access both for companies looking for professionals and for people who want a job opportunity. Also noteworthy are the candidates' more complete CVs, more detailed job openings and more autonomy for PCD (Persons With Disabilities) candidates.

“It is very rewarding to see the portal being widely used. This opening, now, is an incentive for young people to look for jobs in the tool, which is modern and in constant evolution” explained the president of the Company, Amauri Marquezi.

According to the Government and Finance manager, José Antonio Parimoschi, the main objective of public authorities should be investment in people. “The Jundiaí Empreendedora portal is a dynamic tool that must always evolve, especially with the help of people and institutions, such as those who were here with us. We use public resources in an intelligent, efficient and assertive way, mainly to generate opportunities like this one for young people”.

According to the manager of Economic Development, Science and Technology, Cristiano Lopes, the changes in the employability item are the result of a series of meetings with companies in Jundiaí. “The portal is already a success and we hold weekly meetings with companies and their respective HRs to improve functionality. Together with the Cijun (Companhia de Informática de Jundiaí) team, we have inserted filters that will make it easier for both those looking for a job opportunity and for the company looking for labor”.

For Karina Maretti Strangueto, general director of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology/Campus Jundiaí, this connection between young people and job opportunities is fundamental. "This increases the possibility of them getting their first job more quickly, of companies also knowing about this qualification that we do, that this training is of quality so that whoever hires will have a specialized workforce".

The portal also has areas for commerce, entrepreneurship and the internationalization of Jundiaí, with Exporta + Jundiaí and a magazine in five languages (Portuguese, English, Spanish, Italian and Mandarin).
