According to data from the International Data Corporation (IDC) in 2021, the world production of information technology grew by 11%, while in Brazil the growth reached 17.4 %, reaching an investment of R$ 238.2 billion (US$ 46.2 billion), if the software, services, hardware markets and also the segment's exports are considered. But there is still a lot of potential for growth in the sector in the Brazilian market.
ABES believes that a safe legislative and regulatory environment and a set of robust public policies that allow organizations in the sector to continue contributing to the development of Brazil is, therefore, essential for this objective to be achieved. And, to contribute to this objective and driven by the commitment to transparency, ABES discloses its Regulatory Agenda for the year 2023 and sent this material by e-mail to the parliamentarians of the National Congress and delivered the printed version in meetings and public hearings with members of the Legislative and Executive powers in Brasília (DF).
