Grupo Benner, a Brazilian provider of software solutions and services that transform business processes into results, has just announced the implementation of ChatGPT in its solutions. For the year 2023, the company projects an investment of R$ 13 million in product innovation, including research and development of optimized Generative AI tools.
According to Benner's VP of Innovation and Technology, Marcelo Murilo, programmers, developers and analysts from the innovation of the company, have endeavored to create, with maximum efficiency and agility, the new tools, which will be made available to the entire market, including companies that do not have the ERP from Benner. “This month, we will launch the first solutions developed with ChatGPT, for the segments Legal and Human Resources. And, throughout the first half of 2023, we will also make other applications available for the other verticals served by Benner, such as health, for example”, he reveals.
The executive explains that in order to make the solutions available in a robust and reliable way, the Benner Group has carried out careful internal tests of conversion development and code generation. “We have specialized teams and discussion groups to test the latest technologies available on the market and identify their applications and possible optimizations. In addition, we encourage our employees to use ChatGPT as an aid in their functions, also in order to verify improvements to be implemented and developed in our solutions, accelerating the process and guaranteeing more security in usability”, clarifies Murilo.
Optimizing business decision-making
With even more perfected solutions, the Benner Group aims to offer greater accessibility, speed and ease of access to information. In this way, according to Murilo, through ChatGPT, Benner's solutions will be able to guarantee a more strategic decision-making process for companies. “We are also developing a support system for the end user, based on all tickets that have already been resolved and all the documentation available for our products. In addition to filters in searches and reports made in natural language”.
The first solution, to be released in the coming weeks, will allow for the issuance of legal opinions with much more precision and speed, since ChatGPT will make the first draft of the document automatically, in accordance with the legislation. The Benner solution aimed at legal departments has already had other AI features for some time, such as reading and identifying the parties and requests in the initial petitions, and the automatic classification of documents. “Now ChatGPT will bring even more facilities, in addition to opinions, it will make issuing reports, filters and selections of information more accessible, through a naturalized language”, says Murilo.
According to the executive, the success of the solutions will be measured through customer feedback and acceptance. “Every Benner system already has a feedback and NPS function, which determine customer satisfaction. In this way, the functionalities will be released to some partner companies and, as they are accepted, we will include the new functionalities in other products and verticals”, he reinforces.
Challenges and the evolution of ChatGPT
Murilo recalls the ChatGPT implementation process in Benner Group solutions and its challenges, necessary for the evolution of the process as a whole. “Every new technology faces challenges. The generation and management of data, the application of the LGPD and the guarantee that the information provided will be reliable, are the main challenges posed by the new Artificial Intelligence tool, which are already being studied by Benner, in order to increasingly improve the use of technology,” he says.
The executive believes that the evolution presented by the last updated versions of ChatGPT are valuable and can guarantee the reliability of the new solutions made available by the Benner Group. “We are closely following the updates of the tool and many functions are being discovered, which will certainly still have a considerable evolution. Since it was made available to the market, it is possible to say that today ChatGPT offers more accurate and faster responses, allowing security, applicability and optimization to be part of the processes in companies, expanding the quantity and quality of information, as well as the speed of operations.
