THE Qlik® is announcing worldwide this week its intention to acquire Talend. The proposal aims to bring together the two companies, global leaders in the integration and management of data in the cloud and which are supported by the investment company Thoma Bravo, to create an integrated offer that adds value to data and delivers business results to customers. business customers.
Qlik and Talend provide comprehensive and complementary capabilities with industry-leading solutions in real-time data and application integration, data governance, data quality, transformation, analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (Machine Learning). Gartner has positioned Talend as a Leader in its 2022 Magic Quadrant for 'Data Integration Tools and Data Quality Solutions'. Qlik has been named a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for 'Engineering Platforms' Analytics and Business Intelligence' for 12 consecutive years. In addition, the company was also named a leader in the IDC MarketScape: US Business Intelligence and Analytics Platforms 2022 Vendor Assessment.

The proposed transaction is subject to consultation with governing bodies and US business regulatory boards. The deal is expected to close during the first half of 2023, after the usual regulatory approval process. Terms of the proposed transaction were not disclosed.
