– The Company is in the final stages of implementing a service center in its hometown, with new vacancies expected to open in early 2023

– In addition to increasing its global delivery capacity, SoftwareONE will empower young people through technical courses and partnerships with local universities

SoftwareONE, leader in software solutions and cloud technology and services, has seven vacancies open for 2022 and prospects for another 43 vacancies in 2023, for hybrid operation in the city of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, with nationwide coverage. Applications, which can be submitted via LinkedIn (on here), are intended to add a workforce to the xDC, the company's new service center that is being finalized in the city.

Opportunities are for work in the hybrid format and professionals able to apply for the following positions can apply: O365 Consultant (2 vacancies), Backoffice Operations Analyst (1 vacancy), AWS Consultant (1 vacancy), Office 365 Consultant (1 vacancy) , Site Leader – Technical Services (1 vacancy) and Cloud Consultant (1 vacancy). The company's expectation is that in January new vacancies will be opened, including for internships.

According to Ademir Tavares, Services Leader Latam at SoftwareONE, the company has made efforts to establish remote service centers in strategic locations. This is a global move by the company to get closer to customers with the aim of offering personalized service, with differentiated quality, in addition to training young technology professionals who live in the vicinity of these centers.

In this way, Ademir claims that the decentralization of the creation of new delivery centers is in line with the company's service expansion strategy. The model, which has already been consolidated in Europe and the United States, now arrives in Latin America with four centers: in Mexico (Guadalajara), in Costa Rica (San José), in Colombia (Medellín) and in Brazil in Belo Horizonte.

Named xDC, the center intends to act on two important fronts for the company: the professionalization of new talents and excellence in the provision of services. services???????? In addition, the development program called SoftwareONE Academy, developed in almost all countries where the company operates, arrives in Belo Horizonte also to offer additional training for people who are in universities and technical training centers, studying technology.

Ademir explains how this training will work. “It is a global program, already established, with validated methodology. The trainings are like a 'medical residency', but for the training of new talents in technology. They will be carried out in accordance with the concepts of a cloud and the main manufacturers in the market, such as AWS, Google and Microsoft”, he points out. The strategy is to train young people according to the values and company culture, to provide services for Brazil and the world.

Partnerships with educational institutions to promote professional qualification

To this end, one of the xDC strategies in BH is to establish partnerships with educational institutions to prepare professionals for the job market, by opening up internship vacancies. “In addition to the inclusion of these professionals in a company with global reach, they will gain the possibility of interacting with other cultures, people from all over the world and serving companies of all verticals”, he says.

In addition to the training program, SoftwareONE intends to consolidate a center of excellence in the space, focusing on managed services. “The idea is to use these centers to improve the quality of service provision. The expectation is that the sum of all our expertise will allow the company's delivery capacity to increase by up to two times in one year”, he says.

Among the reasons that motivated the choice of Belo Horizonte as the headquarters of the center in Brazil is the fact that it is SoftwareONE's hometown in the country. “The company is Swiss, but when it came to Latin America, it started operations in Belo Horizonte. We have a special affection for the city”, ponders Ademir.

Other points also stand out, such as the company's investment beyond the Rio-São Paulo axis, as well as infrastructure, availability of workforce and strong presence of technical courses and universities that encourage training in technology in the region.

Eduardo Prazeres, HR Director at SoftwareONE, comments that the full operation of xDC is scheduled for January 2023, when hiring should begin. “We will open internship vacancies with the objective of a short training period, so that they can then assume effective positions, for the promotion of the SoftwareONE Academy, an internal university for the creation of young talents, as well as engineers and consultants to reinforce our capital intellectual.

The projection is to have around 50 additional professionals in 2023, and every year we train new talents in the hybrid format in this project. We want people to be immersed in the SoftwareONE culture with a purpose aligned with personal and corporate values to be able to take effective positions in our career path, with the total freedom to work from home or office”, concludes Eduardo.
