This new add-in represents a significant improvement in terms of security, user experience, functionality and ease of deployment. It can be installed through the Microsoft 365 admin center or Exchange, without any client software to install or maintain.
SQL Server Always On Compatibility: it is critical for many organizations that MOVEit is a highly available solution. Support for Microsoft SQL Server Always On gives enterprises an additional level of redundancy for MOVEit deployments, ensuring that it provides a higher level of availability.
Expanded task execution log: allows clients to select the number of job logs to retain. This feature is critical for resolving situations where a task has failed.
Ability to export reports: adds the ability to export logs of task execution, file activity, and auditing from the admin web interface.
Additional improvements in MOVEit 2022 include Windows Server 2022 support in Progress MOVEit Transfer and Progress MOVEit Automation, as well as expanded antivirus and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) support via ICAP in MOVEit Transfer.
