Software development company strengthened the learning acculturation process and structuring the Touch Academy with Plusoft's educational solution

Touch Health, a technology company specialized in the development of software for the health area, started its activities in 1999 and, with more than 20 years of experience, creates solutions that meet the needs of its customers in a broad and efficient way. .

The company has large customers in the sector, serving the main technical centers throughout Brazil, in one of the largest companies in diagnostic medicine and preventive health in Latin America.

Its main specialty is working in mission-critical environments, performing not only software development, but also applications, systems and equipment integration, deployment, support and infrastructure management, in addition to offering laboratory management and image reporting solutions. ; centralization, production and sending of web reports and images, among others.

With two offices, one in São Paulo and the other in São José dos Campos, Touch Health has had Great Place To Work seals since 2009 and works continuously to provide a good experience for its internal public, investing in education and improvement of professional and personal skills.

Needs identified along the journey

With the objective of expanding its services around the world, the company identified the need to invest in the learning of its employees. This is how the Touch Health Learning Center (NATH) was created, with a lighter approach and the purpose of promoting knowledge through learning solutions focused on the continuous development of employees, customers and partners.

With eight months of existence, NATH is in the process of developing learning paths with technical content for the technology area. The trails comprise courses that will train those involved in the functionality of Touch products. All trails will be made available segmented by audience, for the respective employees, whether they are new or already working in the company.

To make all these materials available, the need arose for a learning platform, the Touch Academy. The space has generic courses that are divided into professional, behavioral and social areas, aimed at leaders from different sectors of the company and for the training and learning of interns.

Challenges in deployment and execution

After a survey carried out with employees to better understand behavior and consumption when it comes to learning, plussoft EdTech entered the scene with its Learning Experience Platform (LXP) to strengthen the learning acculturation process and the structuring of the Touch Academy, directing the process with more assertive, structured and relevant content.

“We were able to dive into the EdTech plussoft platform, in a homologation environment made available to us to make an accurate decision. We saw the main features that we could use and that was of great value”, comments Herbert Limírio, leader of Educational and Learning Projects.

Plussoft EdTech's LXP offers a virtual social and gamified learning environment, with an authoring tool for developing online courses, a chatbot to assist the user in their learning journey and provides customized reports for the analysis of educational data. It is a different and complete experience for employees and managers, with the use of artificial intelligence to indicate important content for the development of skills.

“With the variety of courses and the easy usability that the plussoft EdTech team offers, the implementation was smooth and in a short time the collaborators already started their discoveries on the platform”, reveals Herbert.

As the platform's catalog is extensive, NATH's strategy is the gradual release of these materials, so that the public can follow and assimilate all the content more calmly, and, little by little, make their own materials available, developed at Touch.

Results observed with the use

Despite the short time of use – approximately two months – the public was receptive to the platform and has been engaged in understanding how it works and carrying out the available courses.

For Touch, the result came with a behavioral emphasis, as the most accessed course between March and April was “Dealing with Anxiety”.

“This result had an impact and drew our attention, being one more reason to invest in the development of these skills. Emphasizing not only technical content, but also behavioral content. Always being aligned with the strategy of our business”, points out the NATH leader.

In June 2022, the Touch Academy mobile was launched, an advantage that plussoft EdTech provides customers to access courses on devices such as tablets, cell phones and others, whether on Android or iOS.

And the plans for the second half of this year, according to Herbert, is to launch the “Social” part of the platform, so that employees can interact through groups and the social network feed, sharing tips, experiences and much more about what employees have been learning during their journey. “Social” will reinforce the Touch way of being: being collaborative and always working as a team.
