Orange Juice already has more than 2 thousand members and continues to engage those interested in entering the IT market, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and experiences between professionals

The number of people attracted by the technology market is large and so is the volume of opportunities in the area – the Association of Information and Communication Technology Companies (Brasscom) estimates that, by 2025, almost 800,000 new vacancies will be opened in the country. However, starting a career in the field or even making a transition and migrating to technology is not always easy. Thinking of "guiding" and helping people who are in this challenge, the Orange Juice Community was created with the aim of helping, assisting and encouraging beginners or already lovers of technology in their careers. The FCamara Group, a technology and innovation ecosystem that enhances business transformation by providing development and technological solutions, is the sponsor of the community and promotes full support for actions and projects.

“The community is aimed at anyone interested in technology, even those already experienced in the market, but who understand the importance of exchanging experiences and sharing knowledge. However, we especially seek to attract people starting their careers or looking to start and give them the opportunity to see how a technology company works from the inside. It is a very harassed market, many dream of entering it, and Orange Juice wants to help as many people as possible to understand this reality, with tips on how to get started and access to knowledge and exchange of experiences. We believe that this way they will be more prepared and there is a lot of space and opportunities to seize”, points out Joel Backschat, CIO of Grupo FCamara.

Orange Juice has podcasts, lives and a blog with various content, which allows the interaction of followers with experts from the FCamara Group and also from other large companies, in order to show different views of the market. Today, the community has more than 2 thousand members, more than 50 episodes on the podcast and 40 talks on various subjects related to programming, UX, scrum and soft skills. The community has more than 50 partners, including edtechs, NGOs and customers of the FCamara Group itself. To become a member of Orange Juice, it is not necessary to have previous experience, as the objective is precisely to enable new professionals to interact with those already established.

“We have a very strong DNA of transmitting knowledge and not leaving all the learning we acquire on a day-to-day basis within the walls of FCamara. Orange Juice makes it possible for anyone interested to learn more about the IT market, participate in discussions and be inspired by the ideas and trajectories of people who are part of our team and other technology companies. And this exchange is also important in the opposite direction. In other words, we increasingly want our “blood oranges”, as we call our employees, to have contact with the community. Sharing experiences is essential in a market as dynamic as the current one and fundamental for those who want to exercise leadership within organizations”, highlights Fabio Camara, CEO of the Group.

The Orange Juice community also includes a Training Program, totally free and aimed at those who want to train and start a career in technology. The Program does not require experience or training in the area and has already hired several participants as employees of the FCamara Group, VR Benefits, Dr. Query among others.

1 year celebration

To celebrate the first year of the community, Orange Juice will promote, from June 27th to 30th, lives with big names in the market, such as Lyssa Cavalcanti, software developer and content creator at Techly, Rodrigo Terron, CEO of Rocketseat and mentioned in Forbes Under 30, guests from the Girls Testing community, among others. There are also special episodes on the community podcast and a challenge, in which the winner will win an Alexa and an Automation Kit.
