Microsoft Plus Brazil Plan
The #SecurityGirls and #ElasnaIA projects are part of the Microsoft More Brazil, a comprehensive plan launched in October 2020 that aims to extend Microsoft's 33-year long-term commitment to the country. The plan has as one of the pillars the qualification of the workforce and has already impacted more than 111 thousand Brazilians with professional training and retraining programs. Another initiative that is part of the plan and was launched on March 26 is the connect+, a professional qualification program and connection with opportunities in the job market and which has open opportunities for those who want to improve and enter the technology market.
The initiative has two fronts of action – Training and Connection – and offers three free training tracks with more than 20 courses with certification in technology. In all, there will be more than 300 hours of training. on demand, more than 180 hours of training with teachers in Portuguese, with capacity to serve more than 80 thousand people from April to June 2022. In addition, those who participate in the program can register on the Modern Talent Hub, a portal where people who are looking for a job will be visible to companies that are part of the Microsoft ecosystem and have vacancies available.
